Hurst is falling like a rock.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    The Wasted Decade is done.

You're probably right about Jewell. I can dream tho.

Really like Nwosu in the 2nd. I think the team may have Hurst as undraftable. Cowherd said our list of health/undraftable was long. And had some amazing players on it. I just wonder if Hurst is one of those players.

I heard that from Cowherd and Hurst was the first player I thought of. I would be fine with Nwosu in the 2nd, then go best DL or OT in the third

That would explain a lot. And TT shunning injury/medical risks is a smart move.

There were only two, maybe three every-down DTs in this draft, I’d rather go after a high end skill guy today like Nwosa, and grab a stout DT like Senat tomorrow.

Considering TT's top draft choices the past few years- WIlliams, Lamp, Verrett, Gordon, Perryman, Allen,Teo- lots of guys who have missed lots of games.
Very good players when healthy but lots of injuries.
Maybe Tommy T is changing tactics? Draft players who actually play?

CHARGERS MUST IMPROVE IN CENTER OF DEFENSE! Suggest that best of Hurst, Phillips, Nnadi or Settle go in 2nd and best ILB, probably M. Jefferson at or Jewell in 3rd. Will be a long wait for third round. I would go along with trading pick number four and moving up 6 or 7 spots in second round to get a really good DT. or ILB.

Heard an NFL network talking head suggest Luke Falk for the Chargers as Rivers heir apparent.

didn't say which round, but liked him to match scheme/style
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

CBS reported that the Chargers were trying to trade up to take Mason Rudolph.

Hopefully, this is all just noise--no QBs for us this year please!

I do not love the value for our positional needs in round 2.

I still like Gesicki and his insane catch radius (6 inches more than Gronk) plus great hands (no drops in two seasons), especially with no more Gates. The dude is 6' 6" tall, runs a 4.54 40, and has a better vertical leap (41.5") than Derwin James.

I think he can be a difference maker in the red zone.
